This website contains our General Terms and Conditions in French. In the event of a dispute, the French version shall prevail.

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE AND PREVALENCE
These conditions govern the guest room (B&B) services provided by SAS ROUGE BORDEAUX IN FRANCE.
OTA Security: For bookings made via partner platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.), the terms and cancellation policies of said platform prevail over these GTC. For direct bookings (website, email, phone), these GTC shall solely apply.
ARTICLE 2 - RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT (ARRHES)
2.1 Validation: A booking becomes firm upon written confirmation and the receipt of a deposit (arrhes) equal to 50% of the total stay (minimum one night).
2.2 Payment: Deposits must be paid within 7 days via bank transfer or credit card on www.rougebordeauxinfrance.com.
2.3 Legal Nature: Per Art. 1590 of the French Civil Code, if the client cancels, the deposit is forfeited. If the host cancels, they must refund double the amount to the client.
2.4 Duration: The contract is for a fixed term. The client has no right to remain on the premises after the stay.
ARTICLE 3 - CANCELLATION POLICY (Direct Bookings)
Per Art. L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services.
Cancellation Fees (retained from total amount excl. tourist tax):

30+ days before arrival: 10% retained.

30 to 26 days: 25% retained.

25 to 19 days: 50% retained.

20 to 6 days: 75% retained.

Less than 6 days or No-show: 100% of the stay is due.
Shortened stay: The total price of the original booking remains fully due.
ARTICLE 4 - RATES AND TOURIST TAX
Prices are in Euros (VAT included). The establishment may change rates at any time; only the confirmation price is binding. The tourist tax (local tax) is due per adult per night and will be adjusted to current legal rates.
ARTICLE 5 - ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Please notify us of late arrivals.
Check-out: Before 11:00 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a penalty of 50% of one night's rate.
ARTICLE 6 - PETS AND CAPACITY
Pets: Welcome free of charge with prior agreement. Clients are responsible for cleanliness, quietness, and furniture integrity. Pets are forbidden on beds and sofas.
Capacity: If the number of guests exceeds the booking, the host may refuse extra persons without this being considered a breach of contract by the host.
ARTICLE 7 - HOUSE RULES, SAFETY, PARKING, AND LIABILITY
7.1 General Behavior: Guests are required to respect the peace and quiet of the house. The building is strictly non-smoking indoors. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Children are the sole responsibility of their parents at all times (including pool, stairs, and garden).
7.2 Parking and Vehicles: Two unsecured parking spaces are available in front of the house, street side.

Establishment Liability: Parking is at the guest's own risk. The SAS disclaims all liability for theft, vandalism, or accidents involving vehicles.

Property Damage: The guest is financially liable for any damage caused by their vehicle to the establishment’s infrastructure (walls, facade, fences, mailboxes). In the event of damage, an accident report will be filed, and repair costs will be charged to the guest.
7.3 Kitchen Use: The kitchen and refrigerator are available until 10:00 PM. Guests agree to leave the area clean, wash their dishes, and label their food. The establishment is not liable for food theft or illness from guest-provided products.
7.4 Sanctions and Eviction: Any behavior contrary to public order or safety, or deemed disrespectful to the hosts or other guests, entitles the host to demand the guest's immediate departure without refund. The full balance of the stay remains due. The same applies in case of serious contagious symptoms or refusal to follow safety protocols.
7.5 General Damages: Guests agree to return rooms and common areas in perfect condition and to cover the costs of any damage (furniture, linens, equipment) caused during their stay.
ARTICLE 8 - INTERNET AND WI-FI
8.1 Access: The host provides free Wi-Fi but is not liable for network outages or provider issues.
8.2 Legal Responsibility: The client is legally responsible for their internet use (no illegal downloading, streaming, or access to illegal sites).
8.3 Sanctions: Misuse may lead to criminal prosecution. The host reserves the right to share connection data with authorities if legally required.
ARTICLE 9 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND REPUTATION
Commercial use of the establishment’s image (photos, videos) is prohibited without written consent.
Disparagement: Any malicious content, distorted photos, or defamatory comments on social media/review platforms affecting the reputation of the SAS or its representatives will lead to legal action (Art. 1240 Civil Code) and claims for damages.
ARTICLE 10 - DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
Data is used solely for stay management. You have the right to access and rectify your data by contacting management.
ARTICLE 11 - DISPUTES AND MEDIATION
Claims must be made within 7 days. In the absence of an amicable settlement, the consumer may contact the mediator. French law applies, and courts in Bordeaux shall have sole jurisdiction.

ARTICLE 12 - SIMPLIFIED SANITARY CONTROL PLAN (SCP)
I. Personal Hygiene:
Mandatory hand washing before handling any food.
Clean work attire must be worn; use of gloves if necessary.
II. Temperature Control:
Daily monitoring of the refrigerator (Target: 0°C to +4°C / 32°F to 39°F).
Rapid cooling of cooked dishes.
III. Receiving and Storage:
Verification of Use-By Dates (UBD) upon every delivery.
Strict separation of raw and cooked products.
IV. Cleaning and Disinfection:
Cleaning of countertops and utensils after each use.
Use of cleaning products certified for food-contact surfaces.
V. Allergen Management:
Display of the list of the 14 major allergens (see below).
Systematic inquiry of guests regarding allergies during the booking process.
